Our very own Dovydas wins Luton’s Young Hero award and we couldn’t be more proud!

Dovydas began volunteering with us at OOC when he was just 15. He is an incredible young man who has had a difficult start in life, being placed in foster care at a young age and yet surpasses all expectation in every thing he does. We have watched Dovydas grow over the past few years and have found his understanding and compassion for the vibe project students so impressive that we felt it only right he be nominated for the community awards “Young hero” status.

Dovydas moved from being a volunteer to a employee in 2019 and his place with us was largely funded by the Bedfordshire police trust, who like us have enjoyed seeing his success story against all odds.
